I have 9 Rhode Island red hens, have had them for over a week and have gotten only one egg? Whats wrong with my hens?

They might just need more time to adjust to new surroundings.
How old are they?

Time to adjust is number one. Having 12-14 hours of daylight is also needed for maximum production. Top quality 17% type layer feed is essential along with lots of fresh water and outdoor time each day. A large bodied fowl doesn't normally begin laying until they are 22-24 weeks of age. Laying begins to decline a bit after the 2nd full laying season and should be considered normal.

Thank you all for the advice, I'm new to raising chickens so this is all a learning experience for me
