Where are my Partridge Rock Experts?! What sex am I?

I have had a number of partridge rocks over the years, and find them to a particularly beautiful breed. The crosses from them always turned out well adapted to free range, excellent foraging hunters, and pretty fair for laying. Very tough.
Congratulations on Ms. Jade. She is a stunner.

Oh, sorry I haven't checked in here in a while! Glad to see Olivia Jade again, along with a nice set of progression pics! She is gorgeous! :love

My Fancy girl has had her molt and is looking fabulous now that she's finished, but her sister is not so lucky at the moment... Just something to look forward to with Olivia Jade in a year. ;)

All Rocks my favorite!
Thx for sharing the beautiful pics of your Partridge’s growing! Here’s my story of raising Plymouth Rocks so far...

I fell in love with my 4 barred rocks Spring 2018 that I ordered with my son’s Cornish Rock x for 4H meat project.
I lost 3 all my fault for allowing access to my new 4H Spring hogs assuming they’d be OK since the 1 winter show hog was their buddy. Lesson learned, hog pen covered with chicken wire now not allowing access.

I now have 2 more barred, 2 buff, and two white rock pullets I adore that are now 6 mos old.
2 barred and 1 white, are kept at my Mom’s farm that I look after as well..leaving me 3 needing more as I plan on 10 hens in on avg at all times.

I added another batch of 10 pullets that are 2 wks old...2 partridge rocks, 3 Salmon Faverolles, 2 langshan, 2 more barred rocks, and an unknown “rare breed pullet” all from Ideal.

So far, my Partridge Rocks are truly my favorite..sweet and beautiful. 2nd favorite is the very docile Langshans. 3rd are the Salmon Faverolles although they peep shrill like I’m murdering them when I hold. My least are the two barred rocks are pushy and flighty..and peck my hand when I hold!...

Here’s a picture of one of my new Partridge... plan to sneak Silver Penciled Rocks in the Cornish Rock x order next Spring...shhh, husband doesn’t know about chicken math yey

Fancy always looks beautiful despite the molt! Thanks for sharing and yes, not looking forward to when all of them start molting!! For now my barred rock is the only one shedding her feathers, my two ee’s are still laying and the little girls are probably a month or so out from laying! I think my two preferred breeds at this point are the orpington and rocks.
