Where are the polish experts?

Yep. As Shabby Chic-Hens said. In that photo the saddle feathers look sharp and elongated. I'm pulling for you for a pullet, but I started out calling my polish Lucille, and ended up calling him Lucian. sigh...I still love him tho'

BastyPutt hasn't been around in a while. This looks like a pullet to me, but Polish can take a long time to tell gender with accuracy. I see nothing unusual about the saddle feathers, and you don't usually get male specific feathering until 12+ weeks. Probably later for a Polish. The crest is rounded, there are no deeper colored patches at the shoulders and the legs don't look thick. Those are the things I am judging by in this case.

Everything else looks female except for the slightly pointed tail feathers. I'd still say pullet.

I totally see that too and would have a hard time not breaking out into Maggie May every time I walked by him.
