where are they :(

hello, I have 3 chickens that stay in their coop overnight and I let them out first thing every morning. This morning however at about 8 am, the chickens went missing and all I saw from them was feathers from one of them. I then saw a fox run away from my garden. I haven't seen any of them since. What would the fox have done with them? He had nothing in his mouth. Please help

I wonder, hope, that maybe the fox only got one and your other two managed to find a hiding spot. Are they free range or did they go missing from inside their run?

Been looking for an hour and no sign where would they be hiding? bushes or up high in trees?

they're free range. Good news, we've found one but she's absolutely motionless and traumatised when normally she's all energetic and loud hopefully the other 2 will turn up

Oh sorry.. Sounds like the fox might've got them. But there is still a chance that they got away, or at least one of them did.
