Okay so I picked up baytril from a nearby place how many drops should I give her straight. Can someone help on the math for that. It’s a 10% solution 50ml bottle

I used to keep a bottle of antibiotics for emergencies but they've made them so hard to get I had to quit rescuing animals. Heartbreaking.

I mix it with yogurt, they go mad for yogurt. I have just given mine some tonic to help them with the extreme heat here. You should have seen them … yum, yum, yum. Six powder puffs.

Sorry, I just notice it's Baytril not amoxillin. For Baytril, I searched and found it's 5 mgs/lb of body weight given twice a day. For a 5 lb chicken, give 0.25 ml of the 10% Baytril twice a day.

You can get them online, but outside of that - I go to a vet, explain that I need a stash to treat my chickens and get 2 or 3 types of poultry antibiotics once a year. Even if the closest one is far away, surely you'll go near him at some point doing other things. Just remember to drop by and ask for a couple bottles.
