Where Can I Buy Egg-laying Chickens in NH?

Hi,

As my username implies, I know nothing about raising chickens. But . . . a friend has built a coop and my wife is way into it. I want to buy her her own two egg-laying chickens for Mother's Day. We live in the Concord, NH area.

Can anyone help me (and soon!)?

if you can't find anyone on here that has any in NH then check craigslist. there are also chick swaps in NH (the thread is listed under meetups) you might find some there as well.
