Help!!!
Hi all,
Trying to get ahold of a seriously cold hardy large white layer (maybe a brabanter or rosecomb leghorn), a good dark egg layer (Welsummer or good Marans) and some blrw. Going to add some EE's to the order but they're easy to find. Anyone know of a hatchery or breeder with all 3 in sexed pullets? It's just my backyard flock, I don't need *perfect* birds, just want a pretty egg basket.
I know, I'm asking a lot.
It's really the white eggs that are killing me; I just need large eggs, and something cold hardy. I don't really mind if they're a bit flighty. Any other recommendations?
