where can i find chicken hatcheries in southern california?

Hello!
I am doing a class hatching project with my son's Kindergarten class. We have set 7 eggs today. Our hatch day is March 26. The 7 eggs we have are: Barred Rock, Golden Laced Wyandotte, Black Copper Maran, Welsummer, Rhode Island Red.
As this is our FIRST hatching project, I'm terribly afraid something might go wrong and JUST IN CASE, wanted to order 7 "day-old chicks" for March 25 JUST IN CASE the eggs don't hatch or something goes wrong. I just dont want to terribly dissapoint the class...even though they all know some of they might die or not make it, I'd like for each of them to have the experience of their egg "hatching". Do any of you have chicks that might be "just born" around March 25??? Please let me know. I am in Covina.

Hi, there!! I'm in the Pasadena/Los Angeles area, does anyone know when I can buy a Buff chick? The to feed stores that I go to, one in Glendale the other in Elmonte do not have Buffs at the moment. Any suggestions?

Stephan's hay & grain in Glendale, Wes's chicken man in El Monte. They both have chicks, check them out. He will also raise the chick for three weeks to get them thru the baby stage.

I am looking for something close to the San Diego area, so that I can pick up. I live just a bit south of the border, and would prefer not to have chicks shipped to a post office. I am looking for pullets only, approx. 10-12, Easter eggers, Orpingtons, Barred rock. I prefer the easter eggers or Amaracuas. Any and all ideas appreciated.

Hi! Does anyone know where i can buy a blue copper maran hen? Second year gust can seem to keep one alive, have others. I live out in fontana, will pay reasonable price thanks.
