It all depends.... A few streaks of silver or gold showing up in the hackles of any black bird will automatically drop it from a $50+ show potential one to a $10 pet quality cull. A bird that I'm not sure of that suddenly starts crowing will be an automatic price drop. If they get a lil lazy with their wings or don't fill out through the cushion like I want then that drops them down to PQ too. If they only get sparse feathering to mid-toe versus the massive all the way to the 5th toe feathering.... If they are more mature and are still a little too long through the back or don't round out through the chest, they are goners too. Comb gets to big, bumpy, or gets horns off it.... Generally.....if I really want to get rid of a PQ cull I'll drop it down to $5 (same price as a day old chick). Most other pet quality ones will be $10-25 each with pullets on the higher end of course. Breeder quality usually $25-75 for cockerels and $50-100 for pullets. If you want top show quality (already proven in the show ring, in condition right now, could possibly do decent at any show, etc) $50-75 for cockerels and $50-250 for pullets. It varies so much just based on the individuality of the birds. Some of the birds in my barn are priceless and will never be offered for sale.
