I just found out that one of my turkey hens has big ugly gashes in her sides from the tom, her wings cover them so I can't see them, but I happened to notice that she was bleeding today and that's when I found them, one one side there was on that had beed done a while and started healing over already but the other side was a butchered mess and looked like she had been cut several times, so I need to find some saddles before this happens to the other hens.
And any tips on careing for the wound ? I've never had one this bad before, usually with just one single cut on the turkeys or chickens I can clean it up with peroxide, and treat it with vasaline and neosporin and stitch it up and it does fine, but this one may need evtra care. any ideas ?
