Where can i get something that measure temp and moistere

Mine said the same thing, it was in the garden tools section, not where they kept the digital ones, or anywhere near the livestock supplies. Ask where the thermometers are, good luck. Worth it for 2.99!

walmart.... i got a mechanical one today for $3... i guess it will work.... and it saved me $$ hehehe

Those work ok but not great. I dont like the digital ones from Walmart have had problems with them going blank even with a new battery. Thought about the one at PetSmart but for 25.00 I want to make sure it wont go blank on me too. Right now I have 2 digital ones from Walmart one went blank at lockdown when I upped the humidity, I have an aquarium thremometer and the thermometer that came with the bator. I also have a hygrometer I got today from PetSmart that is a dial type. Seems to be working good. I get different temp readings from all and just avarage them.

I will second that. These cheap Springfield ones from Wal-mart aren't very good. Oddly, mine is correct on temps but off for humidity. Funny I see these resold on ebay for twice the cost at Wal-mart.

I also have the Acu-rite temp/humidity gauge also from Wal-mart. It a little bigger and a tad more $$. It works better... but temp only displays to the whole degree (99 deg... not 99.5 deg). The humidity is close enough to use... but the whole gauge is slow to react to changes.

My favorite thermometers are simple glass bulb kinds. I have one for an aquarium that is accurate and fast to react. It's my goto thermometer. And I have a PetCo hygrometer... the round kind used for reptile tanks. It's pretty accurate as well.
