I would say the first thing to do is ask your parents if they know what happened to the fish and its vase. I will bet that they do, and that they had more to do wth the fish and tank going bye bye than did the aunt and uncle.

I have asked both my parents, no they did not do it. And my parents aren't liars, I trust them. I think the tank broke, my aunt was embarrassed she threw it away, end of story.
I've had to kill animals, I've had animals die on me, I'm ok with a dead fish. My aunt is having some personal issues, I don't want to bug her about a fish. They were at our house for a wedding, (one of my siblings) and it was a madhouse, no time for a dead fish. Oh well, next time they visit I'll ask them about it.
