I think there's been some confusion about the original question. Allow me to clarify.
The question was
specifically related to the BYC app for iOS, not the Android app, or the desktop or mobile webpage. Telling someone that you are not experiencing the issue on Android or through your web browser is like taking your car to the appliance repair person - they are completely unrelated.
The BYC app is coded by BYC (or its contractor), so Apple’s iOS updates would also have
nothing to do with the functionality of the app. Also, unlike desktop systems, apps are self contained, or “sandboxed” within the mobile operating system, so there are not separate files to be corrupted; therefore, uninstalling and reinstalling the app will not fix the issue like software on a desktop.
Quite frankly, I'm now questioning the purpose of releasing a mobile app if it's unsupported - do you (BYC staff/owner) really want to drive members to only use BYC on their desktops? The whole point of a mobile application is to bypass the web browser. BTW, studies have demonstrated the popularity of apps, especially with younger users...seems like a missed opportunity to me.
My questions clearly need to be directed to a technical support person versed in app development. I'd appreciate if someone at BYC would see that it happens.
