Okay, got home from work today, decided to go check the nest box for eggs. and i see this little angel walking around with my Buff Orp [she thinks she the leader of the gang]. i dont know where she came from and i went around the neighborhood asking if anyone was missing a chicken. out of 16 houses they all said no! Do you think i should keep trying to find its owner or just keep this little one? Also, i have no clue what breed this little one is. Im thinking Easter Egger??? but im not sure. What do you guys think about the sitiuation? And how old do you think this angel is???

Far from an expert opinion however im leaning towards EE. Id give it a couple weeks maybe put up a poster or two. If noone claims it then keep it and consider the time and paying for the poster paper payment for thebird.

it looks to me to be a silver grey dorking cross i would say quite young. she has the colours of a dorking but only 4 toes not 5 like a pure.

Too bad for those green legs, that color is almost close to passing off as a Silver Ameraucana.

But, she's an Easter Egger.

She looks just like my EE pullet Peanut! Yours is probably around 17 weeks or so. I'm just gauging based on how my EEs look.

I say as long as you make an honest attempt to locate her owner, you can keep her if no one speaks up!
