Where did you find your Ancona and/or Magpie ducks?

Kind of a random question, but I have been looking everywhere and have found very few places that sell these types, let alone sell them already sexed. I did find a place locally that has sexed magpies, but they have to sell them in groups of 6 or more. I really just want a couple females to add to my little group. I usually order from Metzer because I don't have to have a minimum, but they don't sell them so that's that.

Does anyone know of an online breeder that would ship maybe 2 or 3 ducks?

I got lucky and found my saxony on Craigslist. Best part is all he cost me was an hour of my time. Unfortunately the guy getting rid of him list a couple females to coyotes and had to get rid of males. I've been keeping an eye out for more too but so far haven't got lucky again.

Do you breed often? There's a small chance that we might be moving and if so, I'd be making a much bigger set up for my ducks so that I can get more. I'd definitely be interested in making the trip to get some ducklings then, as long as I know you'll have them.

In the spring I hatch between 20-40 over the course of a few months based on demand. Sometimes I'll try for later hatches in the fall but only small hatches as fertility rates drop.

Fall is tough too because I can't evict the ducklings to an outdoor house/run since the weather is more unpredictable.

I plan on doing this for as long as I can.
