Where do I find Food Grade DE?

Can anyone tell me where to find food grade DE? What price should I expect to pay for it? I'm thinking of using it on my dogs and cats (flea control) as well as in my chicken coop. Any input here would be helpful! Thanks!

Custom Milling is okay, but your going to pay more in shipping than the actual cost of DE. I in Henry County and you are not that far from me, so shipping will be about the same for you as it was for me. Something like $27 in shipping charges for 50#'s. We have a member here on BYC, spatcher, that sells the Perma-Guard brand of the food grade DE. He ships quickly too! Try sending him a PM.

Dawn419 also sells DE. I buy mine from Golden Blend Group. Dawn has a website you might try, Ionly pay $20.00 for 50 lbs but Golden blend has an agent in our area and i pick mine up from the flea market, where he has a booth.I tried DE for fleas on my dogs, and it may have killed what was on them at the time but all I got was a dusty house. As soon as they went back outside they were covered again. Only thing I found that works here, and we have some BIGGGGGGGGG fleas, is a good bath in Dawn dish detergent and a spray with Adams flea spray.
