I have looked on the county website but I really dont understand why I cannot find if we are zoned for chickens. There are more than a few neighbors that have chickens but I really don't know how many I can have?
    Any help out there?

Welcome from Eastern Wa. There is a local laws topic in the index it might contain helpful info. Or find your state thread in the where am I where are you thread. Some one there might be able to point you in the right direction. Glad you joined

Thank you! I'm really excited! We are making planter boxes for our front yard to do a nice garden and chickens in the back...

I have a few chickens in mind we are using them mainly for eggs and well to have CHICKENS!!! I have wanted chickens my whole life. Are Bantham chickens as mean as I have heard? lol more questions...so many more.

Actually, zoning wont allow chickens in Mira Mesa, we already had to report our neighbors, who often let their chickens out. They get in to our yard and attack our cat, and crap all over our patio. Houses in Mira Mesa are too close together to allow this..
