I saw that TSC had this, but I was not sure what "With Calcium bentonite" meant, and if it would still be food grade with this additive. Anyone know?

well it states right on the bag that its food grade, I've been using it and i dont see any issue with my ladies. Also lists on the back of the bag which animals it can be used with and the percentages...and specifically lists poultry.

I just got a 40 lb bag from Tractor Supply for $20. Going to get a waterproof container to keep it in so it does not draw moisture and fix up my coop this weekend!

I just bought a 40 lb. bag from TSC for $20 in Gilroy, CA. It had the calcium added in and stated on the bag that it was food grade. Also, the woman stocking the shelves there said she feeds it to her animals and recommended using it over Sweet PDZ for odor control.

If you have a Rural King close by they have it for $12.99 for a 40 lb bag. We use it not only for our chickens but also our cats and dog as a de-wormer.

I too am taking DE everyday now for a tad over a month & I can honestly say that my left shoulder doesn't bother me near as much as it used to! A heaping teaspoon once a day is all I am using & also give it to my 3 dogs, a cat & 6 chickens in their food.
