I've only found three places on the net and no where locally who carries it. Jeffers says it is on backorder indefinately. Twin City Poultry is on back order until Mid to late February. And First State Supply has it but wants another $10.50 for the styrofoam container and I don't know if the have the necessary diluent (sent them an e-mail asking).

jeffer or First State Vet Supply, who ever I am ordering from at the time. I get at least 4 usually many more at once. I would love to get a place that did it in bulk cheaper.

I cannot find it anywhere either.

Jeffers is indefinite backorder
Twin City is on backorder
Randell Burkley is on backorder
First State Vet is over priced (but I will call and see if it is back ordered or available)

So, where else can I get the Marek's vaccine? If I have to wait until it is back in stock (the first of March or so) will that be too late for my chicks? They would be 1-2 weeks old by the time it would come in. I'd really prefer to give it to them at 1 day of age, but where can I find it?

I am sure others must be in the same boat! As for asking a vet, we do not have any poultry vets in my area.

Does Tractor Supply carry it now that chick days are coming up?

You can vaccinate them at any age. We got some from First State Supply but are going to wait until we have three batches of chicks to hatch because it is so expensive and I don't want to waste a whole buch. Even 1/4 of a batch is good for 250 birds. We really should have waited and got it from someone else cheaper. We called Rural King and TSC. Neither one had any idea what I was talking about.
