Where do you buy your DE?

Where do you purchase your DE? The places I have looked it costs more to ship than the DE costs. Any help would be appreciated. Any one in Indiana know where it can be purchased locally?

I recently found food grade DE on Jeffers website. They have it in three different sizes so the shipping should be reasonable.

If you are in the Southern part of Indiana you can get DE from The Feed Store in Charlestown. That's where we get ours. About $30 for a 50# bag of food grade DE.

I think you'll find that most feed stores carry it. I didn't know mine did until I called and asked them -- sure enough, they do. I'm not sure they were the cheapest, but I didn't have to pay shipping (which makes it prohibitively expensive!).

NONE of my local feed stores carried it. Half didn't know what it was. I found a place about ten minutes from here on the Perma-Guard site.

My daughter talked to the guy that owns the local feed store. He said he could order it for us.

Your local feedstore is should be able to get it for you, some of the workers know it as
fossil flour, instead of de.
