. All that I can find in the stores is 24%...

Any suggestions??

There is only 1 feed store within 30 miles of me that sells Purina Game Bird Starter 30% protein. You may have to call around to all of your feeds stores to see who carries it.

I've called everywhere and I'm going to have to order it-that is going to take 2 weeks... I went to the purina mills website and all it tells me is who carries their products. My stores around here don't carry the 30% at all.

Just ask them to get some on their next purina order or any other brand of feed they carry that is for turkeys or gamebirds. It shouldn't cost anymore if they get it with their regular order.

Call the Purina dealers listed when you enter your zip code in the find a Purina dealer-ask if they carry Purina Game Bird Startena. If they don't have it, ask can they order it. I order duck pellets and Startena through the local elevator that doesn't normally carry them. I know I need to let them know by Thursday morning if I want something to come in on the truck Monday. Takes a little planning ahead but worth it.

If u can't find the feed that u need... here's what I do, I get a bag of "soy meal" it's usually around 38% protein... I mix my 24% gamebird feed; 3 parts feed to 1 part soy meal, that should give you around a 30% feed for your young birds... I feed this mix to all of my gamebirds...
