Where do you find avatar images?

I'm searching for clip art but all sites want me to join and pay. Where does everyone find thier avatar image and how can I get it copied over?

Most people are finding pictures just wherever, then sizing them down to 100 x 100 pixels. There's no rule really where you get your avatar, as long as it's within the boundaries of good taste.

type in FREE clip art, also your computer may have some on the hard drive.

Join photobucket and the go on google for some pics. I find lots like that

I'll see what I can find on Photobucket and google. I'm ok with computer stuff but not great. Maybe I'll get my daughter to help...

I take pictures and edit them to make them avatars. Like my avatar is a picture of some of my flashlights laying on my bed.

i do my own pics with photobucket but i got a prob. i resized to 100x75 and it's still saying image to big i can't add one. anyone know how to fix it so i can have mine up too?
