Where do you get Oyster shells?

Well I went to the feed store and you were right they had them but you just had to ask.

They have it $7 for 5 pounds. I have been giving me chickens egg shells and they like them but we have more chickens then we eat eggs so I wanted to get the oyster shells also.

I did know that oyster shells came from oysters by the way

I guess my husband just couldn't figure out a good way to crush them small enough for the chickens.

My family run feed store sells 50 lb bags for about $10. The TSC store here doesn't carry it because they make more money selling the 5 lb bags for $7.

Ask them to get a 50 lb bag.

You can also get grit that has oyster shells in it.

Do not feed the chickens egg shells. They may try to eat there own eggs
