Well, I watch Fox, and I will turn to other stations just to see their take on things, also. But I hardly ever bother to watch NBC news because Jeff Immelt, CEO of GE (which owns NBC Universal) is an advisor to President Obama. (President's Economic Recovery Board)

Can you say "Conflict of Interest"?

You are probably right Saddina. That in it's self is a whole other subject.

National Public Radio. The local NPR stations (we have two) usually have a BBC hour in the morning and a Public Radio International show at night, but they also do two hours of local news twice a day, more in the case of special events. Plus, most of their shows (All Things Considered, Fresh Air, On Point, Talk of the Nation, etc.) usually have something to do with current events, but more in depth, and they make a point of bringing in experts from both sides of a story to talk and answer questions from listeners. I mean, how often do you get to ask pointed questions of the expert talking heads themselves?

I don't really have time to watch TV, but I can listen to the radio during the commute. I remember when there were actual newsradio stations that did nothing but news all day long...

I'm also going with the one not listed on on the poll: NPR. It is perhaps the most balanced programing available. I get news from the BBC World, All Things Considered, Morning Edition and others.

I also read the local paper, read news magazines, watch local news programs and MSNBC and occassionally FOX.

I find that all the cable news networks are biased, and only by watching several do you get anything close to a balanced view.
