Yeah, I used to get my news from the Daily Show or Colbert. We had our cable disconnected (on purpose) almost 6 months ago, so I mostly get my news from my homies at work these days. I was just thinking the other day that I have almost NO idea what is happening in the world right now . . . So that led me to think I should probably start reading the paper or find a good news site, but, then again, am I really any worse off NOT knowing?!

Maybe I'll just hang out here for a while . . .

Both shows stream online for free. We're having the "do we really need cable when everything we watch is online for free" talks... seems we have a bundled deal and if we drop cable it unbundles and then we pay shelf price for the rest, so cable dropping only saves us like $8.

I voted other because when I look at a particular piece of news it is necessary to weigh all the information and spin to hopefully get to the truth. The only thing I don't listen to is talk radio I find it extremely annoying, no matter which side they are on. But then I find TV annoying to and only turn it on when absolutely necessary.
 
I get news from multiple sources. I listen to different networks and cnn. I feel that this form gives me more diversity and not just one persons view. Gloria Jean
 
It's funny to read the comments about Fox News. It explains why some people are so under informed. It does however make life more acceptable if you have someone constantly reaffirming your opinions.

If we were all as balanced as Fox we would all be laying on the ground unable to walk.

I would never trust one news source.
