I was curious where everyone puts there incubator. I have always had mine in the basement and the temp goes up and down by 5 degrees, depending on the time of day. I brought it to the liveingroom this afternoon and the temps seems to be regulating better.

Where is yours located???

My incubators are in the sunroom(morning sun) on the lower level of our home (half below grade). The sunroom was a garage until we had it finished out last winter with french doors to replace the two garage doors and tile floor. I keep a space heater going in that room since the pet bunny and pet lizard also live there. So the temps stay at least 70 degrees in there. Even without the space heater, the temps stay pretty constant in that room, winter or summer. I guess being half below grade it's more like a basement in keeping steady temps.

mine (if you would call it an incubator) Is beside my bed! So that i can turn the eggs at the right times!

I have a large linen closet upstairs that has been turned into the incubator "room". I have a recording thermometer that shows that the temp. fluctuations are no more than 4 degrees, so it's been good so far!

Umm, bedroom. But they sure are noisy when they hatch!

When I used the hova's they where in the office. With the big ones, now I have a hatching and brooding room tied to the barn and coops.
