My hen has bumblefoot. I've been trying to treat it. I can't find the antibiotics or powder though in town. Thus far I have been pulling the "plugs" off and digging out the pus, follwed by a salt water soak, rinsed with hydrogen peroxide, finishing with a blue coat topper. I have her in a seperate kennel with towels. The one foot is about healed. But her other foot doesnt seem to be getting better. My vet doesnt do chickens but said I should be able to purchase the tricide powder and antibiotics from any farm store. Not true, cant find any store that carries it. I live in wittmann, but work in glendale. Anyone who knows anyplace that sales medicine for koi? Thanks!
