Where roosters come to be loved.....not baked.

In the last picture that is big red, my smallest RIR hen who is, ironically, the top hen. She wanted to be in the picture too I guess.

Here is one of the two roosters I have now. They are both just white. Overall, they are good roosters. They aren't aggressive and are good to their girls.



This is a rooster that I recently lost. He was the sweetest thing ever, and I doubt I'll ever get another rooster like him. Miss him so much!

these are my two beautiful boys. Two blue copper marans. They are so sweet. Fabio, the one with the most copper on his neck will now jump up into my lap and wait for me to "preen" him. He is also just now learning this is his flock to protect. Today when I picked up one of my girls she squawked like I was eating her! Fabio came running over, hopping and clucking like "who's hurting my girl! Oh wait, its you but your nice. Whys she freaking out like that!" Im so proud of these gentle little guys! I've only had them.about a week and a half now.

I love Marans, I have 2 hens probably the exact same age as your 2 boys.

They were hatched 12/12/12! How cool is that! I have two roosters and like, 50, hens ( I've never tried to count honestly) at my work that I care for, but this is my first flock of my own. My girls are about six months old now and I hope will be laying soon.. they have just started the squat walking. Its hilarious looking! The boys are my first up close and person.am experience with roosters tho. Not sure what to expect but I hope for the best. Thank you for the compliment on my photographs! Your boy is adorable too. His floofy fuzzy face

He is a Blue Laced Red Wyandotte. Shortly before he died, I got a few more BLRW chicks. They were originally supposed to be girls to breed him with. Although, out of the three I got I think two are roosters.

Great Roosters!! What Breed? Pink Combs??/LOL. They are barred something?

I love Wyandottes, He is fab. Lucky you got his kids to pass his genes on.

Ya and she just got like 30 chicks mailed from a hatchery -.-

I guess its a good thing its a big ranch...

30 chick.lol. That is my whole flock. I don't have to much space so I think I have my fill.
