As I am aware that buying a prebuilt coop is much more expensive than building one yourself, I don't have the power tools necessary to build one. So I am looking for your advice on where and what coop I should buy for my 5 chickens in massachusetts.

Can you look for a small used shed?
Do you have a handy friend that might help you modify it into a coop?
Sadly no, no one nearby even has the power tools necessary to convert it into a coop. Trust me building a coop seems like a blast but, my family has decided no and that the want a prebuilt coop.

we have the same problem. we are buying ours from a place that sells sheds. we saw a lot of them have coops as well. it would have been MUCH cheaper if we could have built our own but aside from the lack of skills, looks is also an issue for us.
