You might need a few people with pellet guns, its funny once the fire starts and gets hot they will race out of there, get a few people to stand around it and pick them off as they try and escape...Hubby says lots more fun then setting a trap lol

My chickens lay their eggs in the nest boxes or the dust bath tub. It's been so cold lately that they have been laying only in the boxes. I put a heater under the roost because they keep getting frost bite. Now, every morning when I go in the coop there is a broken egg dropped from the roost. Does the heat have anything to do with this?
