Hi. I've noticed lately that my rooster has been working on one of my hens too much. I've been keeping an eye on them, but tonight I noticed a big wound under my hens wing (she spreads her wings out when she is getting fertilized). Blu-Kote was sprayed on her imidiately, even though the wound was almost scabbed over all the way. I want to put a chicken saddle (aka Hen Saver) on her to protect her back. I've seen them a lot of different places online, but was wondering where I should buy from for the cheapest price and/or best quality. Also, I want to know if I need the single-strap or double. I'm afraid that if I get the double, where the strap goes around the neck, that she'll get choked or hung on something. But I'm also afraid that if I get the single she'll be able to get it off. Thanks for any and all input!

lovemychix sells them on this website and gets really good reviews. i haven't used them because i don't have a rooster, but they have wing protectors and they are waterproof
