I want to try it too but it does seem like it takes a while to grow and I am inpatient LOL plus I don’t really eat ginger or cook. But I want to start.

Ginger is actually very good for you. If you do any Asian cooking like stir fries or curries it's should be included. Yummy!

Thanks!! I don’t do tons of cooking in general but have been trying to more lately cause I want to eat healthier and eat out less

I've never tried growing it because think it might need a more hospitable climate than northern Massachusetts. Have you spoke to someone at your local gardening center? That's where I would start. Good luck.

It's been successfully grown outside in Maine, though it does require extra effort. Fedco in Maine offers ginger but they are sold out for the year. Here are the instructions for outdoor cultivation. I just grow mine in pots.

I tossed some sprouted store bought ginger in pots. It doesn't take much effort - just some warm weather and water.
