Where to buy rabbits?

Would you recommend finding pet rabbits on craigslist or buying them from rabbit breeders? How do you find rabbit breeders? It seems like its a lot of 4-H kids showing their rabbits at county fairs, not breeders.

Well I want to get a calm, docile and child family breed of rabbit. Maybe a mini lop or rex. What would you suggest? I am new to rabbits and I've never had one.

I'm not sure where your located, but Pam with www.redneckrabbits.net ships her bunnies. She has very nice bunnies. Several different breeds to choose from. I am getting 3 Lionhead bunnies from her.

I think Holland Lops are the sweetest bunnies myself. I raise Hollands, Holland/Mini lop cross, and Lionheads and by far, my Hollands are the sweetest natured.
