Where to find cheap windows that open?

After pricing them at the local home depot, I made my own. I bought some molding and a couple sheets of plexiglass. Attached to the shed with a hinge at top and a latch at bottom. they can be propped open in hot weather or latched closed in cold.

We replaced storm doors and ended up using the windows from those for a coop.

editing to ad:

The windows used in 'old' storm doors are a good option when building a chicken coop. Here is one storm window we'll be using for a new coop we're planning to build very soon.

I have to second (third?) Habitat for Humanity if you can't find them for free somewhere like I did (mine came from a shed teardown...) Habitat had lots and lots of nice, used windows dirt cheap.

With my coop, we went to a contractor's supply place. They had old display windows (smaller than the real thing) for windows that they had discontinued. We got them for a discount.
