where to find golden comets?

    i saw a few pics of people's golden comets.. and im smitten. i havent found a hatchery that carries them though. any suggestions? thanks

    Look on the Buy-Sell-Trade forum. I saw someone that had some they were planning to put on the Big Swap this Thursday. You'll have to read through the pages, but I think its posted towards the end. Hope this helps!

    I just received 15 Golden Commets from Mt. Healthy Hatchery in Ohio.

  4. I'm thrilled with mine, and I bought them at a local co-op, they were less than 12 hours old- hydrated and inoculated. They're six weeks now and getting some reddish coloration at the base of the combs. They're always thrilled to see me and easy to handle.

    I hope you can find a local source because shipping in this heat is tricky. I'd phone some local feed outlets or check their bulletin boards for loacl providers. It's also a good time of year to get young pullets and you'd be guaranteed the gender of the birds.
