Where to find pure breeds??? Can someone help me?

I have been looking for the last 3 months for Bantam Wyandottes, no luck.
Now I have 2 more breeds on my shopping list Seabrights and Sultans. I have to get eggs/chicks/birds from NPIP approved only. Is there an easier way to find them, I have looked on eggbid, BYC, ebay, craigslist, pretty much the whole internet, I even resorted to hatcherys figured I had to start somewhere right? I came up with nothing.

Any suggestions???

The chicks I order from an USA hatchery have legs the wrong colour .


A silver phoenix I bought from a breeder acts like a chicken .
from hatchery stock .laying 1 egg a day



A golden phoenix I bought from a breeder acts like a pheasant .1 egg every 8 dayes.

I drove around and found most of the active breeders around my area .
You may be surprised what you may find .

Around here people will be selling lots of ckickens in the fall and in the early spring theres alot of chickens for sale . maybe its like that where you live .
