Where to put my killing station

Inspired by the saw horse kill station (I can't do the euphemisms!) I want to build one like it. However, I had a question. Where do I want to put it? I could put it near the house, but ick. And I could put it near the barn or coop, but again. Ick. Those poor birds to hear that. I could put it far away, but shlepping water and ice would be hard.

Where do people USUALLY process?

We process out back, near the coup but out of sight of the other birds. One good swift chop and their is no squawking. and if you use a cone their is no flopping around to worry about the others hearing.

It also helps to do it in an area that is easy to clean up so you don't draw in predators.
