Mt 2 year old wyandotte has been a pretty consistent layer. One pretty little egg every other morning. But this afternoon she plopped a surprise in the nest. A smaller than normal rubbery egg. She seems healthy and has had no recent changes in diet. I am hoping that this egg was just a fluke. Is there anything I should keep an eye out for? Crossing my fingers for a nice hard egg on Friday.
