My Japanese Kabo/buff orpington cross finally laid an egg!
She had a prolapse about 6 weeks ago that took almost two weeks of living in the dog crate, warm baths, antibiotic cream, KY, and low light to resolve. After it went back in, I gave her 2 days more rest, with a little more light, to make sure that it was staying in place. I put her outside and I have been watching for her first egg since and have been a bit worried. She is the only bantam so her eggs are obvious. Now I know she is OK.
Hooray!!!
