Whew! What a day at the Poultry Show!!

I had almost given up ever winning anything at a poultry show. It just seemed impossible. Well, today was the day it all payed off.

My Barred Rock Bantam cockerel won Champion Single Comb Clean Legged. I thought that was enough excitement, but he went on to win Champion Open Bantam AND Grand Champion of the Open Show! I was stunned. I will post pictures when I get them. (a friend took the photos)

It was also a great day for our 4-H group with kids winning Best Modern and Best Heavy and Medium Duck!
