whey protein

is it ok to feed chickens? my uncle works at a cheese factory and brought me over a ton of it to feed them, its 80% protein

i figured it would be good for them

thought i'd ask to make sure lol

Hi! We make cheese at home, so no vast quantities. But we do give the chickens whey. They love it! Usually I just mix it with some of their feed and they did right in. If we have a lot I just put some out for them to drink. They seem to enjoy it, but don't get it all the time.
