So, I am running out of my stock of antibiotics I purchased before the OTC ban went into affect. I am looking at Jedd's now just to have something on hand when/if my birds get sick.

Jedd's offers many antibiotics/antibiotic combos on sight.

I want to have something effective, but I don't want to have to purchase all of them in order to be prepared.

I am looking at the Amoxicillian or the Amoxy/Tylan combo. Any others I should be considering?

Which would you purchase to have on hand, just in case?

I don’t like combo drugs. Pigeon medicines can have 2-4 different medicines for multiple illnesses, and I don’t recommend using something that is not necessary. Most respiratory infections that respond to antibiotics are MG and coryza. MG can be treated with Tylosin or Tiagard. Coryza, which many people would cull, is better treated with sulfa antibiotics. Amoxicillin is better for wound infections or reproductive infections. Enrofloxacin, also known as Baytril which is banned for chickens, is probably better for reproductive infections with e.coli, egg yolk peritonitis. Jedds sells that in 10% liquid or tablets (better buy) and they sell Tylosin and sulfadimethoxine (Medicox.) Medicox will treat both coryza and coccidiosis, as well as fowl cholera. It looks like they are out of Medicox at this time, but they usually restock fairly quickly. Tylosin is also sold here with free shipping:

Amoxicllin in capsules has been hard to find lately, but this place seems to have it now:
