Which Blue Cochin should I keep?

I can only keep one of these babies before I have to pass the rest on to the other people I split my order with. These guys are straight run. Im hoping some expert can point me in the right direction to picking a female? One is really light blue, 3 are medium blue, and one is black. Who would you pick?(The white is washable paint on their heads)

did you put the white paint on their heads. if the hatchery did that, that usually means its a rooster. i think. but dont listen to me.

I have found with BBS cochins that the girls tend to be a darker blue, and you can tell when they are just a few days old. The boys will be more powder blue. I'm not talking about the down- I'm talking about the little wing feathers.

I would take the 3 darker blues, and pick whichever has the thinnest legs.

It's been my experience with cochins that the males feather out slower. If you can wait a couple more days, look who has the bigger wing feathers and the bigger tail poofs. ..those will be the girls.

I think the darker blues are prettier when they grow up. Poor little black chick, no question there? I think blue-ness is just genetics, not sure. The dark seems to have more "lacing" in the Cochins. I just like the lacing.

I'd have to see way more and closer up pics to decide. How are their feet coloring? Feet feathers?
