Where did you get them?

I got them from my husbands coworker. He has 20+ hens and a couple roosters. He told us we could return them if they are roosters (we aren’t allowed to have roosters in our neighborhood sadly) but unfortunately my kids are already attached.

honestly they are lovely, look like buttercup mixed with maybe a easter egger. I could be wrong but they are very similar. they will grow up to be amazing roosters though for sure.

Cockerels or not, they are honestly some of the cutest little chicks I’ve ever seen! I love them!!!

I bet he was counting on yall getting attached. Those are 3 barnyard mix roos. Better take them back before he changes his mind about an exchange.
I have found that friends and family will mess you over faster than strangers sometimes.

Yeah, they are barnyard mix roos. They're probably different mixes though, based on their combs and feathers being different in each one.

So after talking to the coworker, the chicks he kept also all have the same combs and waddles... so could they all really be roosters?? His 4 chicks and my 3 chicks?? I’ll have to wait until I hear them crowing.
