ARAUCANA are different than AMERAUCANA, which are both purebred. AMERICAUNA are EEs, otherwise known as mutts.

Pretty much all hatcheries sell EEs/Mutts/Americaunas.

Some sell Ameraucana for like 30 bucks a bird.

None that supply TSC sell Araucana because they are too difficult to mass produce

Thing is unless somebody just wants purebred animals for a specific reason, it really doesn’t make a difference if they are crossbred or composites containing more than two breeds. There are times when a purebred animal is desirable, and times when a cross is better suited depending on the intended purpose.
I’ve used registered bulls in the past, but currently have 2 high percentage Angus bulls with one being 1/4 Hereford. Since our cows are a range crosses as well purebred Angus and Herefords the calves from the Hereford cross bull don’t have a consistent color, but their performance is still consistent, and they have some qualities that I like.
