I got a Wyandotte this summer and I think it’s the only one I regret. This is simply because she isn’t very friendly, and very skittish, and despite her red comb since week 18, she’s at 28 weeks and hasn’t laid single egg! But to be fair, I’m not a very patient person

Mine are very sweet. My first chicken was a orp, she laid a egg a day for her whole life. I have two young ones now, they are a very friendly breed.

They take about 55 days to hatch.
I've found a cheap supplier of them so I expect I'll be doing it a lot in the future.
