Sorry to learn that but there are different "flavors" I've had Blues, Blacks & Buffs, want Splash & Lavenders

My barred rocks are good layers and haven’t gone broody. They are calm but don’t like to be handled much. They’re great foragers and fun to watch.

I have a buff Orpington that has the sweetest personality and loves being held. But, both of my buffs are prone to broodiness.
