Honestly, I gave away a cream legbar as a chick because I thought she was a boy! I’d wait it out. Here is a classic difference:

Since you have white legbars, those faint chipmunks may be females for that color. Silverudd’s Blues-you will be able to tell at 4 weeks! Here is a collage of my three girls:

I wanted a splash too when I first started with the breed. You will get better splash contrast with blue/black parents. Here’s the breeding chart:

Where did you get the hatching eggs from again?

Thanks for the chart!!! Very helpful.

I got my eggs from Foxfire Farms.

I don’t really see a white spot on the faint ones. I do see a spot on both the white ones if the autosexing hold true for them too. I’m definitely waiting it out on all of these and probably going to hold on to them until they are grown and close to breeding/ laying.

With the Silverudd’s what gives them away at 4 weeks? Do the roosters start developing much larger combs that early?

Yes, bigger and redder combs for the roos... Wattles too! Someone posted in my facebook group that their Silverudd's Blues had a crest from that farm, so be on the lookout. If you decide to mix them with the Cream Legbars, you will love the mixes (Ice Cream Bars). So much cuteness!

Ah thanks for the heads up on the crest, I’ll be on the lookout!!

I will definitely eventually mix! I’ve read a little on Ice Cream bars when I was looking up different breeds. Some of my favorites in my flock are my mixes and I’m starting to get some pretty eggs 😍. Now I’m off to search for and threads on Ice Cream Bars, I want to see pictures of them and their eggs!!!!

I currently have a mixed flock and projections to be mixed for at least the next two years. I am thinking about building a couple coops and having a "purebred" coop and have a similar list to yours. I chose Bielefelder on your list for the same reason I am considering them or another autosexing breed. It drives me absolutely insane trying to figure out "boy or girl" on the chickens while they are growing because I am a planner. I like to know from the get-go what I have and where it is destined. LOL. I only JUST bought a pullet of this breed yesterday but their description seems suitable for dual purpose for you and laying. Crested Cream Legbars lay pretty blue eggs and are autosexing also, but I don't know how large they get or if they are good dual purpose birds.
