Which breed would you choose from my list to get into breeding??

17 out of the 22 made it to lock down. 4 never developed 1 was looked like it stopped developing fairly early. It’s hatch day!!! Last night I had 3 PIPS and my daughter just texted me with the first to hatch! Looks like a black Silverudd’s Blue (Isbar) I’m so excited! Really hoping for a good mix of B/B/S, I really want a splash in my flock!!!

14 of the 22 have hatched!!! For shipped eggs I’m thrilled!!! One I’m leaving in for another day. I have 5 crested cream legbars and 2 sport (or white) Legbars, 7 Silverudd’s Blue (4 blue and 3 black)....I think lol. Both breeds are new to me so please correct me if I’m wrong!

Can you help me sex the Legbars? I faintly see white spots on the 2 whites...maybe. Then 2 of the regulars are lighter but not sure I really see white spots on their head?!

I may be wrong but one of the Silverudd's Blues in the incubator looks like a Blue. Again, I could be wrong.

Edited to add: In my defense, I only have 1 Blue Silverudd's Blue cockerel (and I am in love with this breed because of my big guy) and that's it of this breed

I definitely could be wrong but I think I have 4 blues and 3 blacks?!

Sure! All the chipmunk striped are pullets, even the light ones. The two whites are cockerels. They might actually be normal cockerels, since some lines produce blond colored male chicks.

I was really hoping for a splash!!! I at frost though the White Legbars were maybe splash Silverudd’s Blues since I didn’t separate the eggs but I went back and counted shells that were marked by the breeder and it was 7 and 7 of the 2 breeds. The breeder texted me while I was incubating and said she’s having a lot of “sports” hatch from the Rees influence in her line.
