Which breeds are for me?

I absolutely loooooved my buff orps! With kids I would suggest you get a cochin! Alll of my lf cochin hens have made great pets (and are the first in line for treats and to be picked up)

Love my BO's but they do not like to be picked up or touched if you try to touch them or pick them up they squawk very,very loud (you would think I was trying to kill them). My RIR hens are very sweet and will sit next to you and just talk away just like they thought you understood what they where saying

but my RIR roo is mean,mean,mean he will attack anything or anbody but me and the only reason he doesn't attack me is I have put fear in him ( got tired of being attacked). Good luck with your new adventure.
